Update on found dog.

Update. 

I would just like to thank everyone who shared this post, it reached as far as the Midlands and we had offers of help from Greyhound Board of Great Britain.  

Just a bit more information for you. 

One of our officers was on their way into work on Saturday when they was flagged down and asked to help with the dog as it was running around on the duel carriageway.  The officer took the dog to a vets and the dog, a female, was checked over but she didn't have a chip or any identifying marks. She has some minor injuries but returned to the Police Office for some belly rubs and dog treats until the dog warden arrived and she has now gone into boarding.  She will remain at the boarders for 7 days and if not claimed or appropriate owners found she will go to a rescue for rehoming.  She is a very gentle sweet soul and will have no trouble finding a lovely  new home.
